Tokens of the Foundling Museum
The Foundling Museum tells the story of the UK's first children's charity. It was built in the grounds of a hospital established in 1739 by Thomas Coram to care for babies and children at risk of abandonment in London. Their mission is to inspire change through the power of arts and uncover the incredible history of London's first hospital for foundlings.

Inspired by their story I created an illustrated book with the museum which explored the lives of those who lived at the establishment through some of the tokens and artefacts remaining from the mid 18th century.
